The Goalkeeper Journal is sold through Amazon. When you buy it, your contract is with Amazon or the Amazon marketplace of your country: Amazon's prices, delivery times, returns policy and customer service apply. This website sells nothing itself and does not process orders or payments; the buy buttons take you to the Amazon page for your country.

Austrian law applies to the use of this website. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions in your country of residence.

What we process and why

Purchases take place on Amazon; Amazon's privacy policy applies there. We do not receive your order data from Amazon.

When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising pixels.

Newsletter and free ebooks

If you request a free ebook on our Legends page, you enter your email address. We use it to send you the ebook and, once you have confirmed, our newsletter: new free ebooks, occasional tips for goalkeepers and news about the Goalkeeper Journal. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). We use double opt-in: you first receive a confirmation email, and only after you click the link in it are you on the list.

You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email or by writing to support@grind-keepers.com; we then remove your address. Until then we store your address, the time of signup and confirmation, and which emails were sent to you.

Who receives your data

Netlify, Inc., USA — website hosting.
Kit (Kit, Inc.), USA — sends the confirmation email, the free ebooks and our newsletter and stores the list of addresses. A copy of each signup is also kept in our hosting provider's storage so that no request gets lost.
Google Ireland Ltd. — the fonts on this page are loaded from Google Fonts, and our support mailbox runs on Gmail.

Transfers outside the EU — in particular to the United States — are based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or on an adequacy decision for the country concerned.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object. Write to support@grind-keepers.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna).
